Details
Collaborating closely with the Interior Designer, our goal was to create a timeless aesthetic for the group builder’s showhome. We also partnered closely with the construction company to ensure the concept aligns seamlessly with the desired budget.
The framed style with inset panel fronts was a key design feature to the brief. A grid like pattern and symmetrical layout were high on the must haves. We integrated functionality into the space without compromising the chosen style, which features a soft color palette.
One aspect of our design was the incorporation of handles within the framing detail. Our careful planning ensured not only practicality but also proportions, all while preserving symmetry and a fully functional kitchen.
The design vision was to create the face framed effect with the framing detail around inset panels. Making sure the internal spaces were useable for drawers and pull outs whilst keeping the grid like pattern of the framing. Giving the eventual owner as much usable storage as possible, in a functioning space.
Throughout the process, we incorporated the Interior Designer’s vision while maintaining a comfortable budget for the builders. Advising all parties with relevant information and gaining approval at key points of the process.
Careful planning was also essential when working with Laminam to ensure a seamless pattern transition from the countertops to the splashback and across the rangehood, achieving a harmonious and cohesive design.
